Jackson's 5th Fiesta

Posted by Picasa
Here are some old pictures of Jackson's b-day party. Don't you just love the "5" shirt? He had a great day and lots of fun. We rode bikes, played with bubbles, did tattoos, climbed in the tree house, had cake and ice cream and hung out...pretty great day.
Funny story - whenever Jackson asks if he can marry me, I tell him "sure." I mean how long will he want to marry me? Not long, right? So, this morning he asks is if can marry me, I again say, "sure." To which he replies, " Cullum says I cant marry you. He says if I marry someone I already know, like your mom or dad, you go to jail."
Gosh, this is only Pre-K and he is learning these things. Sometimes you just want to keep them at home and shelter them from the world....
BTW - I am sure feeling this little baby kicking. I guess I am really pregnant.

Jackson's Birthday Gifts

What to get a five year old?????
1. His very own Lava lamp to use as a big night light.

2. A Spider Man lunch box for the little super hero in your life.
3. A zip line to soar above the trees in our great backyard (kinda like Spider Man).
4. A fun scooter with an orange surf board bottom that it a little too hard to balance. (This is the gift I think he is too young for, we should have either waited till he was older or got a scooter with 3 or more wheels....oh well, live and learn.)
I'll post more pics later to show you shots of the party we had.

Easter 2009 (or a whole lotta pics)

Easter this year was spent at my mom's house, it is a family tradition. The weather was a little cold but things were still fun. Shaun was struck with a stomach virus so it was me and the boys most of the time. Here is Jackson in motion with his Easter basket.

Harrison couldn't get the concept that you should get all the eggs you can and put them in a basket. He just keep stopping to eat. Probably knew his brother might steal his candy...smart kid.

Finding a candy filled egg is pretty exciting.

Then my dad was nice enough to heat up the whole pool and hot tub. And being great grandparents, they both got in with the kids so I could eat my strawberry shortcake in peace and quiet. Harrison is trying to figure out if he should risk it and jump to my dad. Again, he is a smart kid.

Oops, out of order pic, but who can resist a chubby hand (not mine) and a dinosaur Easter egg.

Another out of order picture (I won't quit my day job to become a professional blogger, don't worry.) Jackson enjoys finding the Spiderman eggs.

Jackson hasn't been in the water in at least 6 months and within 10 minutes it all came back to him. He really is a "fish out of water."

Jackson has mastered the jump from the side move...no fear here.

Candy, pool, grandparents, 3 home days, Easter egg hunt; I think this face says fun was had by all.

I will try to update you guys soon on Jackson's 5th birthday party and some other great pics that have been sitting on the camera. Oh, and baby number 3 is fine too.
